OUR MISSION

This project is dedicated to telling the stories of inspiring people over age 50 who rage against the clock and openly rebel at the norms of age. Be heard.

BADASS AMY FAVAT – “My dad was truly an exceptional human being. He taught me from a very young age the beauty of giving and being thankful while not looking for praise or acknowledgment.”

BADASS STEVE WERNER – “It was the first of many nights of sprints, push-ups, burpees until I puked, squats, pull-ups until my arms fell off. 10 months of hell. Then one day I woke up and it was over.”

There are all kinds of ways to celebrate a birthday. Today my friend Daniel turned 34 and he asked me to join him on a 34 mile run. Happy birthday Daniel. You are a amazing, thoughtful, purposeful human. It was one hell of a day and a celebration of life lived, life in the moment, and life ahead. This may not be everyones slice of birthday cake but as you can see from the photo it worked for the birthday boy and the guy who got to attend the party.
Celebrate this chance to be.
One foot in front of the other no matter what the conditions.
Fun loop. Full moon.
Lunch looks a lot different these days. Plenty of parking at my favorite place. And 2 hours and no one is looking for me. #over50badasses #lunch #freedom #lifeisshort #runsarelong
